Hope’s Promise Horseback Riding
Maureen Coultas and the Hope's Promise Therapeutic Riding Program in Chester, NJ hosted Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation children and families. The event gave children and families the chance to experience horses, equine care, and time away from the rigors of illness and treatment. Several volunteers and Chelsea Hinkle, who chaired this event, made this opportunity possible!
Following the event we received the following note from a mom of one of these amazing cancer warriors:
I am always thankful for these events and for the organizations that make it happen. Having a sick child changes things in so many ways. When life becomes a sea of doctor appointments and hospital stays these events bring back normalcy to a very chaotic existence. It's a time to meet others facing the same challenges, a time to meet all the wonderful people who are a part of these organizations and dedicated to helping our families, and a time to stop thinking about the next appointment and simply laugh smile and have fun. Thank you for giving that to us. It's always so needed.
